In this live performance, the artist interprets 18 tracks from her own repertoire, in restrained and sensitive arrangements, accompanied exclusively by the guitar of her compatriot Djoje Almeida . In the tracks, she explores Cape Verdean traditions through rhythms such as coladeira, batuko, and funaná, rearranging songs from her five previous albums: Navega (2006), Stória, Stória… (2009), Studio 105 (2010), Lovely Difficult (2013), and Manga (2019).

The album, which unfolded over a three-year tour, was recorded in 2023 during the London Jazz Festival at Union Chapel, a neo-Gothic chapel built in the late 19th century in the English capital, which currently hosts artistic performances. With its resonant acoustics, the space has already provided a liturgical setting for shows by artists such as Milton Nascimento, Elton John, Björk, and Amy Winehouse.
