One of the most important names in contemporary Brazilian music, Céu is constantly renewing herself. From the impetus of a cry comes "APKÁ!". The intimate album is guided by reflections on contact in its deepest state, like the experience of natural childbirth, as well as relationships in a technological context mediated by robot voices and apps. Synthetic yet sweet textures weave together Céu's perceptions of the touch of skin and the touch of a cell phone screen. "APKÁ!" is a multifaceted effort: producers Pupillo and Hervé Salters, lyrics by Caetano Veloso and Dinho Almeida (Boogarins), and collaborations with Seu Jorge and Tropkillaz contribute to this endeavor.
