Guess who's back, Doctor? Planet Hemp has arrived at the NRC! Currently comprised of Marcelo D2, BNegão, Formigão, Pedro Garcia, and Nobru, Planet is one of the most iconic groups in Brazilian music. Co-produced by the band itself, Nave Beatz, Os Fita, and Mário Caldato Jr., the album features honorary member Black Alien, as well as musicians like Criolo, Argentinian rapper Trueno, Tantão e os Fita, and Thiago França. The new songs carry Planet Hemp's distinctive style, immortalized in the motto "rap, rock 'n' roll, psychedelia, hardcore, and ragga," but update the band's language with contemporary influences from rhythms like trap, drill, and Miami bass.
