Liniker and the Caramelows
Produced in 2016 with the support of a crowdfunding project, the album was released in a special vinyl version with an exclusive graphic design, different from the CD. Tulipa Ruiz, Raquel Virginia, and Tássia Reis, Aeromoças, are featured on this album that broke barriers from the start. "As a Black trans woman fronting one of Brazil's most compelling soul bands, her mere presence is a statement," reported the American website NPR. Sound and Colors highlights that "her provocation of binary norms challenges prejudices in a nation marked by 500 years of Catholic heritage, but also maintains a tradition of gender ambiguity in Brazilian popular music."
