Winner in the category “ Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese” at the Latin Grammy Awards in 2024, “Os Garotin de São Gonçalo” is the debut album by the trio Os Garotin.

Featuring Anchietx, Cupertino, and Leo Guima on vocals and Julio Raposo producing, the album celebrates blackness, the importance of a good flirtation, and dreams that survive despite social obstacles, to the sound of soul, funk, R&B, and MPB (Brazilian Popular Music).

The trio's meeting stemmed from an immediate musical affinity. "We realized that whatever song one of us sang, the other also liked," recalls Anchietx. "That's when we understood the strong connection that existed between us," adds Cupertino.
