After breaking out with the hit "Quando Bate Aquela Saudade" and the uncompromising Pearl (2013), Rubel dove headfirst into producing his second album, "Casas." Straying from the familiar folk sound of his first album, the singer set out in search of a sound that celebrated his Brazilian roots. From the combination of brass and string arrangements with beats, "Casas" is born from a meticulous blend of Brazilian music and hip hop, featuring guest appearances by Emicida and Rincon Sapiência. The cozy track earned a place in NRC's history on a translucent green vinyl, alongside another issue of NOIZE magazine with exclusive content—including an interview with Rincon.
