A frevo that resonates beyond Carnival—it is with this in mind that Pupillo and Marcelo Soares embark on a research project on this inexhaustible and historic rhythm, placing it in dialogue with other musical aesthetics. For this contemporary frevo, they enlist a powerful team of collaborators: Caetano Veloso, Arnaldo Antunes, Céu, Siba, Duda Beat, Otto, Tulipa Ruiz, Henrique Albino, and Almério, along with arrangements by Mestre Duda and the participation of Roberto Barreto of BaianaSystem.
