"Em Nome da Estrela," the second solo album by Bahian Xênia França, has arrived at NOIZE Record Club. The combination of Afro-Bahian percussion, the extensive use of synthesizers, and the artist's distinctive voice, which straddles jazz, soul, and R&B, creates a unique sound, the result of co-production by Xênia, Lourenço Rebetez, and Pipo Pegoraro. Compositions by Gilberto Gil and Djavan receive new interpretations on the tracks "Futurível" and "Magia." On "Dádiva," Xênia performs a song by Luiza Lian. The album also features guest appearances by Rico Dalasam on "Já é" and Arthur Verocai on the arrangements of "Ânimus x Anima."
