The master Gilberto Gil is back with NRC! Recorded in Los Angeles, this is the first time the album produced by Sergio Mendes has been released on vinyl in Brazil. The album combines tracks in Portuguese with English or bilingual versions of great compositions from the era, such as "Here and Now," "Nightingale," and "Maracatu Atômico." The album also features the previously unreleased tracks "Samba de Los Angeles" and "Move Along With Me," composed in the United States for the release. For the recording, Gil brought together great Brazilian and international musicians, such as Abraham Laboriel, Lee Ritenour, Robertinho Silva, and Rubão Sabino. It's a must-hear release for any lover of Brazilian music without borders.
