Muta
Perotá Chingó
Perotá Chingó emerged from a trip through Uruguay that brought together the voices of Argentines Dolores "Lola" Aguirre and Julia Ortiz. With musical production by Uruguayan Juan Campodónico, Muta explores the stages of life—from childhood to death—in versatile, poetic compositions. The sound reflects the multicultural depth of this project, which originated in the southern hemisphere but has won fans worldwide: with one foot on the ground and the other on the asphalt, you can hear tango, cumbia, lo-fi hip hop, and pop. Featuring collaborations with DJs Chancha Via Circuito and Pablo Bonilla, and Brazilian musician André Abujamra (Os Mulheres Negras), Muta is the first international title in our catalog.
